Charlie Parker Honored As One of Texas Lawbook’s “Lions of the Texas Bar”

We are proud to announce that our partner and good friend, Charlie Parker, is being honored by Texas Lawbook as one of 50 “Lions of the Texas Bar,” a group of legendary business lawyers aged 65 and older who have made significant contributions to the legal profession or society.

The group of 50 was selected from nominations put forward by a panel of more than 30 seasoned veteran Texas lawyers, including ten current or former corporate general counsel, two federal judges, and two law deans, to identify the group of active lawyers who have made an impact through their practice of law.

“This is a wonderful and well-deserved honor and recognition for Charlie’s stellar career and continuing role in our Bar,” says Paul Yetter, managing partner of the firm, “and we could not be prouder of him and for all that he has done, both professionally and personally, to merit this fitting award.”

Texas Lawbook’s profile on Charlie, along with the full list of 50 Lions can be found here.  The publisher is planning to hold special CLE events in Houston and Dallas to recognize the 50 Lions in early 2016.
