Rising Energy Trial Lawyer, Tim McConn, Joins Yetter Coleman

Yetter Coleman is pleased to announce that Tim McConn has joined the firm as a partner.

A highly-regarded commercial trial lawyer, Tim’s practice focuses on representing clients as plaintiffs and defendants principally in the upstream and midstream sectors of the oil and gas industry. McConn joins the firm from Andrews Kurth, where he was a partner.

“Tim is an outstanding addition to our great roster of trial lawyers,” notes partner Collin Cox. “His deep experience representing clients in thorny energy disputes, both in and out of the courtroom, is a perfect complement to the firm.”

“The depth Tim adds to our growing energy practice – a core area of focus for us – is an excellent strategic fit for the firm and furthers our mandate to hire the top legal talent to serve our clients,” said Paul Yetter, managing partner.

“The opportunity to join Yetter Coleman, given the exceptional reputation it has built as one of the top litigation firms in the country, is one that I simply couldn’t pass up,” McConn said. He adds, “Moving to a boutique platform makes perfect sense for my clients, and I look forward to continuing to provide them with the highest level of service and value, while practicing alongside the best trial and appellate lawyers in Texas. It’s a win-win.”

McConn is an honors graduate of The University of Texas School of Law (J.D. 2001) and the University of Notre Dame (B.A. 1998). He is active in the Bar and community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Houston Bar Foundation, Trees for Houston, and St. Anne Catholic School Foundation.

Yetter Coleman is a litigation boutique that specializes in high-stakes business and technology litigation.  Our lawyers provide integrated counsel for plaintiffs and defendants in a broad spectrum of matters, with particular focus on contract and business torts, appellate, intellectual property, and antitrust and securities litigation for clients involved in the energy, technology and finance industries.
