Yetter Coleman Adds Respected Commercial Trial Lawyer Tracy LeRoy As Partner

Yetter Coleman is pleased to announce that Tracy LeRoy has joined the firm as a partner.

With more than 15 years of experience handling litigation and arbitration proceedings for clients in a variety of industries, Tracy’s practice focuses on representing companies in the upstream and midstream sectors of the oil and gas industry in disputes involving the exploration, production, and transportation of oil and gas, including drilling rights, operating obligations, leasehold disputes, renewable fuel commodities, and pipeline issues. She also handles a variety of employment-related litigation, including trade secrets, employment agreement enforceability issues, and whistleblower claims. LeRoy joins the firm from Sidley Austin LLP where she was a partner and the litigation group head of its Houston office.

“Tracy is a terrific business litigator whose reputation, particularly in oil and gas disputes, makes her an excellent addition to our strong team,” says Tim McConn.  “She complements our trial group perfectly,” notes Collin Cox, “bringing courtroom skills and a strategic approach to all of her cases. We are thrilled to welcome her to the firm.”

LeRoy observes, “Having seen Yetter Coleman lawyers in action over the years, I’m thrilled to be joining some of the best trial lawyers anywhere.” She adds, “After spending my career in large firms, I am excited to move to a top trial boutique and continue to deliver outstanding service, value, and results to clients.”

LeRoy has held various leadership positions with the Women’s Energy Network, including currently serving as a member of its National Advisory Council.  She was honored to be named to the Shortlist for Chambers and Partners 2017 Women in Law’s national award for an Inspiring Role Model in Promoting Gender Diversity in the Legal Profession. She also is active in the community, serving on the Board of Trustees for the Houston Ballet and as pro bono counsel for the Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Yetter Coleman focuses on high-stakes business and technology litigation ─ contracts and business torts, intellectual property, and antitrust/securities litigation ─ for plaintiff and defense clients in the energy, technology, and financial services industries.
