Yetter Coleman Once Again Named A Leading Texas Commercial Litigation Firm, Newly Ranked For Antitrust By Chambers USA

Chambers and Partners have again named Yetter Coleman a leading commercial litigation firm in Texas in its 2017 Chambers USA:  America’s Leading Lawyers for Business annual directory.

The firm has received continuous recognition from the publisher for nearly a decade. This year’s Guide includes client comments confirming that the firm’s strengths are found in its being “incredibly attentive and knowledgeable,” with another remarking that the firm is “very passionate about looking after my interests.”

Paul Yetter is recognized as one of the top commercial litigators in Texas, appearing in Band 1. Noting that he is a “first-tier lawyer,” interview sources tell Chambers that Paul is “a master in the courtroom. He has such an ease about him that it is as if he is talking to you in your living room.” Paul also received new recognition this year for his antitrust practice, with market sources observing that he is “a go-to plaintiff lawyer” and “one of the best trial lawyers in Houston.”

Reagan Simpson, is again ranked in Band 1, Appellate and in Band 2, Energy & Natural Resources, with Chambers reporting that peers commend his ability to both “try cases and appeal them,” and calling him a “terrific, cerebral lawyer.” Clients note that he possesses a “unique ability to gain the trust of lawyers on both sides, and the courts as well.”

Collin Cox is elevated to Band 3 this year and marks his second year in a row as the youngest trial lawyer appearing in the Texas list. Chambers notes that he has an ever-growing profile in commercial litigation due to his highly-regarded representation of clients in the energy, financial services, and software industries. One client observes,”He was superb. His preparation was thorough and attuned to critical subtleties. At deposition, he was calm, exceptionally well prepared and in command, and his witness’s testimony was flawless.” Another interviewee remarks that he “knows when to take a tough stance and when a more conciliatory stance is preferable; he knows exactly what to do in any situation.”

Chambers and Partners conducts its annual research with clients and peer firms to compile its rankings, covering 45 different practices on a state and national level. Full details about Yetter Coleman’s rankings can be found here.
