Yetter Coleman Promotes April Farris and Rob Ellis to Its Partnership

Yetter Coleman is pleased to announce it has promoted two lawyers to its partnership effective January 1, 2018.

April Farris joined the firm’s appellate team in 2010, following her graduation from Harvard Law School and a clerkship with Hon. Jennifer Walker Elrod on the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. She left the firm in 2014 to work as an Assistant Solicitor General for the State of Texas, returning in 2016 to make contributions in cases for our clients like Noble Energy, iPic, IBM, and CIT Group. April is recognized as a “Texas Rising Star,” by Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers.

Rob Ellis joined the firm’s trial team in 2011, following his graduation from Harvard Law School and University of Cambridge and after a judicial clerkship, also with Judge Elrod of the Fifth Circuit. He has taken lead roles on important cases for our clients Southwestern Energy, CIT Group, Business Logic, IBM, American Airlines, and other clients for which we achieved outstanding results at trial. Rob is recognized as a”Texas Rising Star,” by Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers, and as a “Houston Top Lawyer” in Business, Civil & Commercial Litigation by H Texas Magazine.
