Yetter Coleman is looking to recruit a Director of Marketing and Business Development. Reporting directly to the COO, and the firm’s Management Committee, this is a unique opportunity to be part of a tight-knit leadership team focused on firm growth.
The Director will lead and help foster the firm’s marketing and business development efforts, including implementing strategies to cultivate business with current and prospective clients, RFPs and pitches, and attorney coaching, as well as marketing communications, and brand initiatives. The Director will provide support for media, awards/rankings, and other promotion. The firm desires a business-minded, strategic thinker who brings best practices and fresh ideas, helping to identify business opportunities and serving as a conduit for turning ideas into action.
To be considered, a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, liberal arts or related field is required, and candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of business development and/or marketing experience in a professional services environment, preferably a law firm. The ideal candidate must be familiar with litigation and be a client- service oriented self-starter that can take on multilayered projects simultaneously. This person will have a strong work ethic, a great attitude, and exceptional communication skills.
