Director of Information Technology

Yetter Coleman is actively seeking a Director of Information Technology with at least 10 years of experience, preferably in a law firm environment.

The director will be responsible for the overall management, planning, organization, and execution of all IT functions for the firm.

Essential Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the firm’s overall objectives.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to identify and prioritize technology needs to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
  • Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of the firm’s technology infrastructure and
  • Oversee the deployment and maintenance of hardware, software, and network
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity measures to safeguard company data and
  • Manage the technology budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage outsourced IT providers/vendors to support IT

  • Perform needs assessments, technology, and vendor selection, focusing on building best practices while controlling costs.

Support Responsibilities

Trial Support

  • Coordinate logistics for local and out-of-town trials, including evaluating hotels to ensure the hotels meet our residency and IT requirements.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work
  • 10 years of experience in a technology role, preferably in a law
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, hardware, applications, and emerging
  • Ability to collaborate closely with management to understand IT requirements, needs, and
  • Excellent interpersonal communication
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize, analyze, organize, attention to detail, and follow through.
