Yetter Coleman is pleased to announce that trial associate Susanna Rychlak Allen is the top scorer for the July 2021 Texas Bar Exam, scoring 369 of a possible 400. This marks Allen’s second time to pass the Bar, having passed the Tennessee Bar Exam in 2017 and being admitted to the D.C. Bar in 2018.
Allen joined Yetter Coleman in January 2021 following several years of practice with Williams & Connolly LLP in Washington, D.C. She learned about earning the state’s highest Bar Exam score after receiving a congratulatory call from Texas Supreme Court Justice Brett Busby. She will be recognized for this special achievement and is slated to give a brief speech at the state’s official virtual induction ceremony that will be held November 15th.
Allen expressed her gratitude, “Thanks so much to the whole firm for your support during this process. Glad to join y’all as Texas lawyers.”
Susanna’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and includes trial and appellate-level experience representing clients in a variety of sectors, including technology, food & beverage, and professional services, in disputes involving class action, antitrust, government investigations, civil RICO, and general tort claims. She received her J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School, where she graduated Order of the Coif and served as the Editor in Chief of the Vanderbilt Law Review. She clerked for the Honorable Julia Smith Gibbons of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Memphis, Tennessee.
