Yetter Coleman is pleased to announce that Jason LaFond is now board-certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. The certification process is meticulous and requires demonstrating substantial experience and knowledge in civil appellate law, passing a comprehensive exam, and receiving positive evaluations from judges and other lawyers.
With the addition of Jason, nearly half of Yetter Coleman’s appellate section is now board certified. Jason joins his certified colleagues Connie Pfeiffer, Dori Goldman, and Reagan Simpson.
Jason is a former Texas assistant solicitor general and senior agency lawyer with a wealth of appellate experience in courts around the country. His impressive record includes dozens of appeals in Texas courts and in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Jason’s work goes well beyond appeals—he counsels clients, leads strategy, and litigates high-stakes cases from beginning to end. His deep public law experience has proved invaluable to government entity clients and those litigating with and against state and federal government agencies.
