Continuing its strategic efforts to build the firm’s future generations of leadership, Yetter Coleman LLP has added Michael Murphy as a trial partner. He joins from Winston & Strawn LLP, where he served as co-chair of the firm’s Houston litigation practice.
A seasoned first-chair trial lawyer, Murphy focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes and a broad range of disputes affecting energy clients. He has significant experience defending clients in matters involving toxic torts, product liability, environmental claims, catastrophic events and insurance coverage.

Murphy has served as trial counsel in more than 30 jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, and administrative hearings across the United States. For more than two decades a myriad of Fortune 500 companies, private equity companies, and individuals have trusted him with their most significant disputes.
