Yetter Coleman and Tim McConn Shortlisted for 2026 Texas Legal Awards

Yetter Coleman LLP was recognized as a finalist for Litigation Department of the Year (General Litigation), and partner Timothy McConn was named a finalist for Energy Lawyer of the Year in the 2026 Texas Legal Awards presented by Texas Lawyer.

The firm’s recognition follows a year of significant litigation results across commercial, energy, appellate, and constitutional matters. Among them, Yetter Coleman secured major victories in cases arising from Winter Storm Uri, obtained injunctions challenging state restrictions on proxy advisory firms, and continues to handle precedent-setting litigation involving energy, antitrust, and the Camp Mystic flooding.

McConn leads Yetter Coleman’s energy litigation practice, representing major energy companies in complex disputes involving pipeline operations, oil and gas contracts, royalties, and other industry issues. Over the past year, he secured a favorable settlement for Great Western Drilling and Davoil in a dispute involving Permian Basin assets exceeding $400 million and led the trial team that obtained a $17.5 million judgment for AEP Excluded AssetCo and Advance Energy Partners in an oilfield supply contract dispute.

While we congratulate this year’s winners on their well-deserved honors, we are honored to be recognized among the state’s most accomplished legal professionals. The finalist designations underscore the strength of our litigation practice and our continued commitment to achieving exceptional results in our clients’ most significant matters.

The Texas Legal Awards recognize attorneys and law firms making an impact on the Texas legal profession through their work, leadership, and accomplishments.
