September 21, 2020

Town Square with Ernie Manouse is a gathering space for the community to come together and discuss the day’s most important and pressing issues.

In the first segment, Ernie is joined by David Sterling, partner with Baker Botts LLP, to discuss Ginsburg’s accomplishments, work on the bench, and his own personal experience of arguing before RBG and SCOTUS.

Then, at 14:00, Ernie is joined by Connie Pfeiffer, partner and head of the appellate section at Yetter Coleman LLP, to discuss Ginsburg’s legacy, impact for women, impact on the bench, and the way history will remember her.

And finally, Rocky Rhodes, professor of law at South Texas College of Law Houston, joins Ernie to discuss the political implications of Ginsburg’s passing, possible replacements, and the political precedent of the coming replacement process.
