— 12:15 to 12:45 – CLE Presentation – An Overview of Texas Business Courts.  Texas has revamped its Court system for resolving business disputes with the creation of new trial and appellate courts with judges to be appointed by the governor with the consent of the Senate. The landmark legislation, known as House Bill 19 (H.B. 19), will apply to actions commenced on or after September 1, 2024.
