Yetter Coleman is pleased to welcome J. Reid Simpson as senior counsel.

Reid’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and appeals, with particular experience in personal injury litigation, toxic exposure litigation, appellate law, legal malpractice cases, products liability litigation, and coverage/indemnity matters. Representing Fortune 50, Fortune 500, and publicly traded companies, he has significant trial and litigation experience and has obtained numerous dismissals and summary judgments in state and federal courts and in arbitrations for a variety of clients including government contractors, medical research institutions, energy companies, transportation companies, and professional service companies.

Reid is recognized in personal injury litigation as a “Texas Rising Star” by Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers and by Best Lawyers in America. Prior to joining the firm, Reid was a partner at Hartline Barger in Waco.

“We are thrilled to have Reid join the firm,” says Tim McConn, partner. “His experience and background are a wonderful complement to the high-stakes work that we do on behalf of our clients and it is particularly gratifying to have this special opportunity to watch Reid and his father, Reagan Simpson, who is one of the state’s preeminent appellate lawyers, practice together.”
