The firm received the following practice rankings:
- Band 2: Energy Litigation: Oil & Gas – Mid-Market ($0–500 million)
- Band 2: Commercial Disputes – Boutique Firms
- Band 3: General Commercial Disputes – Mid-Market ($0–250 million)
Multiple individual recognitions accompanied the rankings. Managing partner Paul Yetter was named a Hall of Fame lawyer in General Commercial Disputes – Mid-Market. He was also recognized in Legal 500’s Leading Trial Lawyers rankings, earning a Band 6 ranking.

Legal 500 highlighted several significant matters handled by the firm during the research period, including Yetter Coleman’s representation of the Venoco Liquidating Trust in litigation arising from a 2015 pipeline rupture. Following an eight-week trial, the matter resulted in a $100 million settlement. The guide also recognized the firm’s win for Apache Corp. in a $1 billion oil and gas lease dispute.
