Bonnie Fraase Selected to Institute for Energy Law’s 5th Leadership Class For 2022-2023

Bonnie Fraase has been selected for membership into the Institute for Energy Law’s (IEL) 5th Leadership Class for 2022-2023. Bonnie joins 41 accomplished energy professionals that hail from ten states, Canada, and Mexico that have experience in areas such as environmental, regulatory, construction, commercial, ESG, leasing, royalty, renewables, LNG, CCUS, finance, and much more.

IEL is a division of the Center for American and International Law focused on providing educational and professional opportunities for lawyers and other professionals in the energy industry through educational courses, conferences, scholarly publications, and membership activities.

With an acceptance rate of less than 50%, class members are selected annually by a committee through a rigorous application process that evaluated their skills, achievements, and passion for energy law. The Leadership Class will participate in a retreat in New Orleans this October during the 6th National Young Energy Professionals (YEP) Law Conference and participation continues through 2023 with various webinars, networking events, programming at IEL’s 74th Annual Oil and Gas Law Conference and graduating at the 7th National Young Energy Professionals’ Law Conference. Bonnie’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, with a growing emphasis on representing clients in oil and gas and technology disputes. She served on the firm’s Institute for Energy Law Advisory Board and is a member of the Women’s Energy Network Houston Chapter.
