Spencer Packard is a registered patent attorney and trial lawyer whose practice focuses on intellectual property and commercial litigation.
Spencer’s experience spans every phase of litigation, from pre-suit investigations through trial. He has taken and defended more than thirty depositions, delivered an opening statement for a two-week federal jury trial, examined witnesses in trial and evidentiary hearings, and argued evidentiary and dispositive motions.
Prior to joining the firm, Spencer practiced with Ahmad, Zavitsanos & Mensing, PLLC, and Baker Botts, LLP, where he represented clients in trademark, copyright, patent, trade secret, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and fee-collection disputes. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center, where he served on the Houston Law Review and on the Mock Trial Team’s Executive Board. During law school, he also interned for Judge David Hittner of the Southern District of Texas.
Spencer earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University before attending law school.
