Yetter Coleman LLP has expanded its litigation team with the addition of associates Rose James and Spencer Packard, who bring experience in complex commercial litigation, intellectual property matters and federal court practice.
James comes to the firm as a third-year associate in the commercial litigation practice. She previously practiced at Susman Godfrey LLP. Prior to that role, she served as a law clerk to the Hon. David A. Ezra of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. She earned her law degree with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where she served as Articles Editor for Legal Forum and completed the Graduate Program in Health Administration and Policy.
Packard joins as a fifth-year associate in the intellectual property practice. He brings experience representing clients in intellectual property and commercial litigation and is a registered patent attorney. At Ahmad, Zavitsanos & Mensing PLLC, he handled patent, trademark and copyright disputes, took and defended more than 30 depositions and presented opening statements in federal jury trials. Packard earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center.
