Amy Farish Honored with the 2023 Outstanding Young Litigator Award by The State Bar Of Texas Litigation Section

We are proud to announce that Amy Farish, partner, will be honored with the prestigious 2023 Outstanding Young Litigator Award by the State Bar of Texas Litigation Section.

The award recognizes attorneys with less than ten years of experience who have demonstrated exceptional service and accomplishment in the legal field, including:

  • Show demonstrated commitment to equal justice under the law,
  • Promote the rule of law,
  • Exemplify professionalism; and
  • Make significant contributions to the community through legal representation, community organization service, or service to the State Bar.

Farish, who was elevated to partner at the beginning of 2023, has consistently demonstrated commitment to outstanding client service and legal excellence on behalf of the individuals and companies that entrust her with their complex litigation. She also has made significant contributions to the community through her service as the firm’s Pro Bono Coordinator, through which she has implemented programs leading to 100% pro bono participation from all firm associates and handling pro bono cases, including leading a team of lawyers and staff in connection with a critical immigration case on behalf of a teenage girl that prevented her from being returned to a dangerous living situation in El Salvador.

“ This is a wonderful honor for Amy  and, by extension, our firm,” says Tim McConn, partner and management committee member, adding, “her professionalism, commitment to her clients and colleagues, and dedication to ensuring our firm provides critical pro bono service to the community truly embodies the essence of this special award.”

Farish will be recognized during the Litigation Section’s Outstanding Young Litigator Award Ceremony on Thursday, June 22, at 9 am and will be held in conjunction with the State Bar’s Annual Meeting in Austin. This ceremony will kick off an eventful day for Amy as she will later participate in a panel discussion on “Gender Equity in the Law” at the Diversity Forum.
