Yetter Coleman LLP has been named a finalist for Litigation Departments of the Year, General Litigation, and partner Timothy McConn has been shortlisted for Energy Lawyer of the Year in the 2026 Texas Legal Awards presented by Texas Lawyer.
The firm’s recognition follows a year of significant litigation results across commercial, energy, appellate and constitutional matters. Among them, Yetter Coleman secured major victories in cases arising from Winter Storm Uri, obtained injunctions challenging state restrictions on proxy advisory firms and continues to handle precedent-setting litigation involving energy, antitrust and the Camp Mystic flooding.
McConn leads Yetter Coleman’s energy litigation practice, representing major energy companies in complex disputes centered around pipeline operations, oil and gas contracts, royalties and other industry issues. Over the past year, he secured a favorable settlement for Great Western Drilling and Davoil in a dispute involving Permian Basin assets exceeding $400 million that settled on favorable terms days before trial. He also led the trial team that obtained a $17.5 million judgment for AEP Excluded AssetCo and Advance Energy Partners in an oilfield supply contract dispute.
