Casey’s practice is focused on commercial litigation. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in lawsuits arising from claims of fraud, breach of contract, mass torts, trespass, civil RICO, antitrust, trade secret misappropriation, and other causes of action. He also conducts internal investigations and investigations responding to DOJ and SEC subpoenas.

A trial attorney, Casey has tried numerous cases to verdict, and achieved favorable outcomes for clients in financial, insurance, aviation, transportation, hospitality, retail, and oil and gas industries. Casey also has an active pro bono immigration practice representing individuals seeking asylum in the United States.

Before joining Yetter Coleman, Casey was a law clerk for the Honorable Raymond J. Dearie in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York in Brooklyn. He previously practiced with large international law firms in New York and Houston.

  • Triad Hunter v. Westlake. Part of trial team that won $70 million by unanimous jury verdict in Ohio state court following four-week trial. Represented plaintiff who prevailed on trespass/negligence claims against a solution mining chemical plant.
  • US Airways, Inc. v. Sabre Holdings Corp. Part of trial team representing US Airways in antitrust lawsuit against the largest U.S. global distribution system. Following a three-week trial in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the jury found that Sabre was a monopolist that abused its power and harmed US Airways and competition by practices meant to stifle innovation and new distribution technologies.
